Jantzens Fond has received a significant contribution from Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen, and the fund's name has been changed to Kristian Gerhard Jebsen og Jantzens Fond. 

The purpose of the fund is to support Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish lawyers who wish to acquire improved qualifications for practicing maritime law through academic research or practical legal experience outside the Nordic countries. 

This year the fund has awarded two scholarships. One scholarship has been awarded to the Norwegian lawyer Øyvind Molven who will attend a trainee programme with the lawfirm Holland & Knight in New York, and the other scholarship has been awarded to the Swedish lawyer Ninos Aho who will attend a trainee programme with the lawfirm Ince & Co in London.
