During his 20 years of service at Nordisk Trond also pursued a research project which led to the publication of his doctorate thesis in 2009. This highly regarded thesis opened doors for an academic career at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime law.

On September 1, Trond took on his new responsibilities as First Lecturer at the School of Law.  We will miss Trond as a great colleague and friend, but we are pleased that he will continue to maintain contact with us in various capacities.
