Setyawati Fitrianggraeni (born 1983) was awarded a law degree majoring in legal practice from the University of Indonesia in 2006. Upon graduation, she joined Hiswara Bunjamin Tandjung ( in association with Herbert Smith LLP) and thereafter Luhut Marihot Parulian Pangaribuan (“LMPP”), two major litigation firms in Indonesia where she was given ample opportunity to familiarize herself with Indonesian litigation practice.

She passed the Indonesian Bar Exam and received her license in 2008. In the same year, she decided to specialize in maritime law and pursued a Masters in Law at University College London and completed the course in 2009.
