Trond Solvang has been appointed Secretary of the Maritime Code Committee (Sjølovkomiteen) with the task of drafting legislation for the possible implementation of the Rotterdam Rules in the Norwegian Maritime Code.
As a consequence Trond 's engagement at Nordisk will be somewhat reduced from December, however, he will continue to handle existing cases. We are pleased that Trond has been selected for this important task and believe the knowledge and insight acquired from this process will not only be beneficial for Trond, but also for Nordisk members.
