Nordisk safeguards its members’ and clients’ interests not only in relation to legal issues, but also in connection with commercial and strategic considerations.

Nordisk’s policy is to resolve problems in a constructive manner through a combination of legal expertise and a practical approach. Each year, Nordisk’s international team of highly qualified lawyers handles approximately 2,000 new cases in jurisdictions all over the world.

Membership in Nordisk, which is obtained against an annual fee, does not only give access to the services referred to, it also entitles the member to have its legal costs covered - in Norway or abroad - as per Nordisk's statutes.

Nordisk currently employs 20 lawyers, of whom 17 are based in Oslo and 3 in Singapore. There are 3 UK solicitors, 1 UK barrister, 2 US attorneys, 1 Malaysian advocate and solicitor, 2 Swedish and 11 Norwegian lawyers (advokater).
